Memories

Did a rather short and rushed paragraph on 2013 last night but after a second thought, I feel that I should do a proper post to end off 2013 and welcome 2014 since I have nothing to do now anyways hehehe :p

(Ok I so not know how to start this post....)

Let me start with school first then ~ ahahaha ^^'

2013 is an important year for me I suppose since it's my last year in Dunman and it's when I took my Os! Being the last year in Dunman, I believe that I had tried my (very) best to cherish every moment spent with my friends, esp. in school, b'cos I know that I will never have the chance next year, or the next next year, on in the future, to be like having recess or lessons together in school. Moreover, unlike this year, it'll be even harder for us to see one another every single day when we get into our separate JC/Poly! Sighhhh. And 2013 is the year which allowed us to stay by one another, encourage one another to stay strong and push one another to do even more better in preparation for our Os! We stayed back after school to study together and then went home together ; when we are stressed, some of us made cards to motivate the rest, or at times, we hugged one another - 2013's the year where we grow even closer together! :D

Yup, so I guess these sum up my 2013?? Wanted to upload my bday and CNY pics here but it takes really slow so nah, forget it haha. Besides the mugging and stressing up due to studies, I have a pretty good 2013! Since I have a lot of first-times this yearrrr hohoho.

Stranger's Reunion / Frozen

Finally had my long-awaited trip to Strangers' Reunion! Went there with wenyi today :-)

The special order of the day (if I never rmb wrongly what it's called) - Buttermilk waffle with caramelised bananas and walnuts and strawberries, topped with the vanilla ice-cream!!! Yummm. :p Made my trip there just for this waffle which Lynn has recommended and it definitely did not let me down! Loveee the caramelised bananas and walnuts heh. It's a must-try if yguys are heading there okkk! 

Side dish - Truffle fries. Ordered this the last cos both of us couldn't decided if we should order this or one of the cakes there heh. It's really a big bowl man x.x

Main dish - Baked eggs. Judging from the appearance, the baked eggs look & taste weird and THEY FREAKING DOOO! Do not, I repeat, do not order this unless you're daring to try some new different spices lol. It sucks totally for me. Luckily the toasts are good enuf (or are they... LOL) to cover up for that yucky baked egg... I suppose (trying to comfort myself for the loss of the $17 or rather $8.50 since I shared this with wy).

Sighhhh, should have just ordered the waffle and the truffle fries b'cos they suffice to keep our stomachs full already! Hais, taking it as a lesson learnt - no more baked eggs for me :'D Spent like $25 just for the lunch alone today... :-( if it's not for the baked eggs, I would have found my money spent worth it T-T 

Next up, headed to orchard's cineleisure to buy our Frozen's tickets! Woooo, was so elaaated to find out that there were still numerous showtimes for this movie despite having being shown in cinemas for 1 month hehehehe. Took some pichas before the movie started! :p -

After the movie, I'm still mesmerized by the magical stuff in the movie *-* even tho it's just animation but still *-* hahahahaha. And the songs inside are really nice! So gonna download them tmr heh :p oohhhhh, I love the snowman (Olaf) too! So cute and funny! It cracked me up several times and I had no choice but to laugh even tho my bladder was so full... (If u get what I mean like when your bladder's full and u have no choice but to laugh b'cos it's hilarious and then u feel that your bladder's gonna burst soon) Hehe, really love the movie!!! :D

Lastly,

Alright, time to blow dry my hair and head to bedddd. But before I go, just wanna say that today's the last day of 2013! Time flies and 2013's coming to an end :') I don't know if it's a good year or not to me cos I can't really remember (now) - stm yo - but one thing I'm sure is that I definitely had much fun, joy and laughter, and it's a memorable year b'cos it's the year when many of my first-times occurred in. Like first time riding a roller coaster, first time having a job, first time dressing like some toot just for class photoshoot?? And etc etc. Undoubtedly, it's a year to be remembered! Thanks everyone in my life and everything (every good or bad??? things) happened in my life for I know all of 'em played a part in helping me to grow as a person :-) I'm not good at these kind of appreciative-words-thingy soooo, a big

3-days work

Helloooo everybody! Had been working for these past 3 days which therefore explains the lack of updates here recently hehe.

Sooo these peeps are all of my colleagues (full timers and part timers) whom I had been working with @ Takashimaya's private sale event these 3 days! :D

And here's the pic of us, the part-timers hehe. Coincidentally, the part-timers are all girls as well o.o HAHAHA. Oh and one of 'em is 16 too! While 2 of 'em are currently waiting for A level's results and 1 of 'em is currently waiting for University's results ahaha. All of us are waiting for results - another thing we share in common heh.

If you haven't know yet, we sold watches from Fossil! There were 5 brands - Fossil (duhhh), DKNY, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors and Emporio Armani. I was put 'in-charge' of Marc's watches hehehe. This time it's definitely an eye-opener for me b'cos I didn't know much about watches initially and ofc not the brands too... Before working, I had only heard of DKNY and EA HAHAHAHA. Oh welllll, I'm a frog in the well, remember?? :')

Ohh and our bosses/managers treated us really good! They provided us free meals!!! ^-^ Soooo, we had chicken rice (lunch) and pizza (dinner) on the 1st day, Japanese bento and Subway's cold cut trio on the 2nd day and then Tori-Q and the same Japanese bento on the last day! Yeah I actually remembered all the food b'cos they are FOOD. LOL. I was kinda worried that I might spend too much on my meals before we started to work cos the food there is expensive! TAKA LEHHH. Knowing that our superiors blanja-ing us our meals, I'm very glad and ofc thankful for that which allowed us not to burn a hole in our wallets hehehehehe. Bought a scoop of choco chips ice-cream from Hokkaido Ice Cream or smth there on the last day, thinking that there's gonna be a staff discount by wearing their 'promoter' badge so I didn't want to waste this opportunity but guess what, THERE'S NO STAFF DISCOUNT FOR THAT ICE-CREAM T-T BUT, nevermind. B'cos the ice-cream's really good! Sadly, I had to rush finishing it because I was left with a bit of time before our 30-min break's up siannnnnn :-(

ANDDD,

(ok prepare yourselves 'cos I'm gonna spazz a bit here),

THIS COLLEAGUE OF MINE, THAT RED HAIR ONE, IS MY EYE CANDY HAHAHAHAHAHA.

Chia and I kept spazzing about him (most of the time it was just me tho HAHAHA) during our breaks/after our work. The first thing I noticed about him is his red hair then ofc is his appearance liao la. Handsome siaaa /heart flutters yi xia/ *-* I initially didn't tell chia about it b'cos sometimes or most of the times... My 'handsome' and her 'handsome' differ. But this time, she actually mentioned about him to me first, saying he's handsome LOL. That's when I started to spazz about him to her liao xD Waaa, my first eye candy I suppose but sadly, I only got to look at him for 3 days :-( It's ok la, I think it's enuf le 'cos I kept stealing looks at him when I was working... Oops. I couldn't really take my eyes off him sia hahahahahaha. And I was like delighted when he talked to me HAHAHA, even tho it was like for awhile onlyyy :-( HAISSSS. Whatever it is, I won't get to see him again so I should stop 'eye-candying' him :'D Nonetheless, he's my first eye candy man HAHA. I also realised that chia and I are very lucky - we have free meals wherever we work at (IT Fair & Fossil) and this time, a handsome guy for us to look at :p I think I get my luck from her la, my lucky star perhaps? LOL.

Definitely had a great experience working with those peeps (and with the watches hahahaha) even tho it was just for 3 days (and even tho we had to get up early - esp on the first day - and felt like dying during work b'cos we were so exhausted that we wanted to sleep so badly for a few times)! They are a fun and joyful batch - we joked around and laughed together whenever there wasn't much customers around hehehe. - which I will wish to work with again if possible (ofc la... If u get what I mean, HAHAHAHA). Learnt a lot from the full timers as well - be it about the watches or how to be a good salesperson :-) Might consider to join Fossil as a temporary staff for less than 1 month 'cos I heard we actually can do so! Shall see how it goes when chia and I visit the agency again on monday! :D Hopefully, we'll get a job soon and it'll be like events kind? Hehehe, and hope that we'll always be this lucky (which I believe won't be this case :-( ), working with amazing bunch of people! xD

Christmas

First of all,

MERRY XMAS EVERYONE :D

Hope yguys have an enjoyable one b'cos I don't really have :-( As usual, my Christmas has been pretty dull for me. Thought that I would probably be going out to celebrate xmas with my friends in the afternoon today but nope, we didn't. Saddddddd, very saddddd. T-T So I spent my whole morning and afternoon at home alone (mum's out working), watching vampire diaries and cooking my Korean maggie for lunch.

(Went to esso to buy the Korean maggie, sausages and this Polar's Choco eclair!) it's not niceeee - kind of soggy hahaha dk if it's always lidhat ah :/ 

Was really sad that I totally didn't have any plans today... Seeing others having so much fun outside, be it xmas party or just a simple outing, honestly made me feel jealous and lonely... Hahaha didn't feel very good ah.

AND THENNNN,

I called my mum who had been calling me several times but I had missed them.

TADAAAA.

Her work was over!!! Yeaaaa man. Thought that she would be working for the whole day today (that's what she told me) but it turned out that she had mistaken! Wooooo.

So immediately, I asked her to meet me @ tamp inter so that we could have our Xmas dinner tgt :'D YIPEEEEEE. Right after the call, I went for a joggggg. Then I quickly bathed and changed out to meet her!

Had Swenses for dinner whoop whoop. Ordered breaded chicken and 2 scoops of ice cream (cookies & cream and strawberry) :p guessed I had just gained back all the calories I lost from these few days of run.... Or maybe even more T-T 

Damn. WHEN AM I GOING TO BE SERIOUS AND DETERMINED ABOUT HAVING A HEALTHY DIET......... WHENNNN???? Juz kill me lol.

Oops back to dinner. Went straight home after dinner and I was freaking full! My stomach's definitely on the verge of exploding... Like literally (you don't say). And I'm still feeling so full right now. Planning to sleep early tonight but how??? Not with this over-expanding stomach of mine :-( Ohh and guess what, chia and I have to report for work at Taka tomorrow at 7AMMMM!???? Like what the shit, fffuuuuuu. We have to wake up at like 5+ :'((((( our sleeeep. Gone. Sighhhh. Luckily it's just for tmr!! Reporting at 930 for the next two days! Hope all's well for these 3 days hehehehe. Ok so it's still kind of a boring Xmas for me but am really glad that I had my dinner with my mum outside! ^^ At least I didn't spend my xmas alone the entire day hohoho. Okie,

Food

Stayed at home on Sunday (as usual). Watched 'switch' starring Andy Lau!! Lin Zhi Ling's inside as well! Really like this kind of action pack movie heh. Andy lau's movies are one of my favourites as well woooo. Hk movies ftw :p had tang yuan that day too! It was our chinese's 冬至 (dong zhi) which I only know that we will be eating tang yuan on this particular day HAHA.

On Monday, initially intended to shop at bugis with Lynn first before meeting up with the rest to have lunch but guess what, the pig Lynn overslept HAHA. So we met at around 12 ++ (we were supposed to meet at 1130) with chia and liann as well! Since chia and I had interview @ Bras Basah Rd at around 215, we decided to forsake our shopping trip to bugis and headed to city hall first. Walked around and soon after chia and I headed to Bras Basah by circle line since we didn't know how to walk to the interview's location from bugis. (We checked thereafter and it was kinda far, lucky us :'D) 

So after the interview, we got the 3-day job (for Fossil) starting from this thurs to sat! Hehehe so glaaaad we got the job man! At least I won't be rotting away at home liao woooo. Haven't been informed about what time to work or where exactly we're working at yet tho, most prolly at taka. What's infuriating is that taka's damn strict about the staff's uniform - black from head to toe - black polo, black pants, black shoes. POLO??? Cannot plain tee but must collared black shirt WAAA. (Bought one from uniqlo liao) Almost died trying to find my black jeans. And I got so pek cek that I actually have 3 jeans but all are blue and 2 of 'em have not worn yet!!! Waaaa yet I had to buy another pair of BLACK jeans.... (Ended up buying black jeggings at uniqlo HAHA) luckily I bought my black converse high cut hehe! XD 

Ok back to the outing. Headed back to find them at Plaza Sing and walked to strictly pancakes which turned out to be closed. T-T walked back to some nearby mall and had eighteen chefs since there was this auntie giving out flyers for 'em! (& each flyer stands for one free ice cream HAHAHAHA so we took a handful xD) 

Ordered this cheese-baked pasta with tangy tomato as sauce and mushrooms as the main ingredient!!! The cheese waaaa /drools/ damn gud. I'm craving for it now uh oh :-( Afterwhich, we had peppermint ice cream and there were holy 14 cups HAHAHA. 'Cos there were 7 of us and I guessed we took two each or smth idk. Then Liann left earlier since she had flight to germany later on, yea so each of us had 2 cups and some had 3 XD went to bugis junction, bugis plus and bugis street walked around, bought hot red velvet cocoa (damn sweet, too sweet for me T-T) & slacked at coffee bean as well. Headed home after that. Dead tired. 

Met up with chia today at tamp to sign our contract with the agency! Wa 10AM. Waited for around 30 mins to sign that freaking contract hais. Kept yawning non-stop when I was sitting there waiting T-T went to walk around (tmall, t1 and century square) to hunt for cheap jeans. As I mentioned, ended up buying uniqolo's jeggings and lent 1 pair of black jeans from Lynn as well but it's kinda tight a bit.... (Shit my big ass and thighs) so jeggings it shall be, her jeans as back-up then HAHA. Had lunch @ Ajisen Ramen. FINALLY satisfied my craving for ramen heehehehe. The gyoza's damn good!! That's chia's side dish while mine's chicken cutler heh. Parted our ways after that. Went to TMART to return dvd (yea again) then homedddd.

Had a good run just now too! Hehe so happy!! Felt that I could have run more but.... I think even if my lungs could take it, my knees couldn't. So oh well. 

Tomorrow's Christmas and I have no plans yet! Dread staying at home alone tmr so I'm asking people out now. Yea, quite despo ah 'cos I really don't want to stay at home on this festive day :-( sighhhhh. Hope there'll be plans ah or idk what la sia hahaha.

Cycling

This is my 4th time cycling hohoho! And this time is with wenyi! We didn't want to rent bike 'cos a bit waste money ah, plus we could only cycle for 2h if we rented. Soooo she lent from xinran while I lent from tjinyang! I was kinda pek cek last night that I couldn't really lend a bike from someone conveniently. You see, ty stays at like the central area so if I lent from him, it would be very troublesome ah. Like I had to cycle back to tamp inter to meet wy but I'm still a noobie, so he had to cycle with me, at the same time, showing me how to cycle back so I could return. Moreover, I had to meet him at like 845?? Very early (I was dead tired too hahaha). So I tried to lend from others but failed. :/ That's when I started to get frustrated. Had no choice but to lend from him lor! Felt bad 'cos I woke him up early and he still needed to cycle with me hahahaha. Many thanks to him! :D

Wy didn't have a good time either. She had to cycle from pasir ris to tamp inter to meet me! Waaa, I felt so sinful. :-( Made 2 person have a hard time... If I knew how to cycle.... Everything's gonna be easier from them sighhhhs T-T (THANKS WENYI AHH :p) So she took around 1 hour to cycle to tamp inter? Then we had mc breakfast heh. I bought big breakfast while she bough sausage mc muffin with egg! Yumyum. Ok stomach's full and there we gooooo.

It was so cooling at first! Like with all the wind whooshing past us while we were cycling woooo I like :D But then the sun decided to come out and torture us. LUCKILY. It drizzled for a short period of time at the beginning! Really really heng though it did rained quite heavily for awhile. Glad that this rain stopped as quickly as it came xD Cycled back to ty's house with wy to return his bike before we went on separate ways! I bused back to tamp inter while she cycled back hahaha. Bought some cards from Urban Write to make xmas cards before heading to tmart to return DVDs and went homeee.

Watched 'Gone' after I had reached home. Quite exciting. I don't know la, cause I was quite tired and almost fell asleep towards the end. Not the movie's fault but my body's fault. Yea. The main lead in the movie damn smart HAHAHA. She's damn witty man xD Went to jog afterwards! :D

Gonna cycle a few more times (that is if my time allows of course) and I think I'll be better at cycling hehehehe. And ever since I've learnt how to cycle, I start to like cycling!!! So shiokkk, especially when the weather's good, not sunny, no rain yet windy, perrrfect! Hehehehe, can't wait for the next cycling! Feel like having my own bike now.... Like I can also continue to learn using my bike, isn't that convenient? Isn't that goooood? xD Haha aiya no money la. Pffft, waiting for the agent to contact us! Want a job nowww. :-( Hope to go out with my teammates soon too! Miss them loaaaads :-(

Interview & Movies

Planned to go for a walk-in interview @ T1's Sushi Tei, but things decided to go wrong for us. :-( It was full so there wasn't any available space for the 3 of us (wy, chia and I) to work there. We actually went in for 'interviews' for 2 times. The first time was whereby we walked in and they told us it was full. Second time was with the help of chuansiang, we went in again thinking that probably they could squeeze us in or smth (yea I know, thick-skinned, we felt that too) but we all knew that it was impossible. What angered us wasn't the unavailability of the job but the attitude of a female staff there. She was so rude man like I felt like punching her or slapping her. Wtheck, can't she just talk kindly/politely to us??? Not like we won't understand. Gladly, there was another nicer guy whom I believed was the manager, spoke to us nicely haha. 

Besides sushi tei, the despo-for-jobs trio even went for one walk-in interview @ Fish&Co which is just right beside sushi tei. Well, it failed. We also went to check @ SASA since we saw the paper outside saying they are looking for part-timers and have heard that there's an upcoming event at bedok mall. But the staff there isn't very sure about the event, so we decided to see first about calling the HR! Walked around and soon after knowing about the location of some job agency at tamp, we headed to the CPF building where it's located at!! Hopefully the agent can find some suitable job for us! Anws, our agent's such a nice person! Hehehehe. So much more better than the rude woman earlier on xD 

Afterwhich, wenyi came to my house to watch movies while chia headed home! (Lazypigshit HAHAHA oops) Rented 'The Internship', 'The Lucky One', 'Gone' and a Chinese movie.

 Watched the first 2 with wy!! The lucky one is a romance movie but it's kind of boring... I almost fell asleep though hahaha. Then the internship is just ok la, probably because I don't really catch what they're talking 'cos my tv screen is too small for the movie so there isn't any subtitles T-T I can't watch eng movies without subtitles..... I don't understand what they're talking. :-( sighhh.

Didn't spend much today luckily! Spent money on 4 delicacies today from yamazaki... Intended to start eating healthy today but I guess it failed :((( Didn't manage to run today as well cause it was raining haissssss. I'm feeling so fat now needa get out there to run sooooon. Going to cycle tmr morning with wy! Hope it doesn't rain tmr morning so our plan goes well heh. Alright, bye bye! :D

Chalet :D

Suppp guys!!! Back from chalet this afternoon and I was sooo tired that I went to bed without bathing (I bathed last night le ok!) But because after sleeping on the chalet's floor, I still felt a bit dirty... So I went to take a quick bath before sleeping. Then, woke up and had lunch before I went back to sleep again. Even though the stayover at chalet was tiring, I had so much fun!!! Because it's my first time having a stayoverrr woooo. :'D

Ok so on the first day, we met up and had our lunch @ Subway before heading to the chalet. Initially, we didn't know there was a shortcut to the hidden chalet so we took one big round outside, under the freaking scorching hot sun and made our way there. All of us were like 'WAH' when we entered the chalet. Not because it's so amazing but because it sucks. 2 storey might make the place itself sounds exciting but nope, it's not. The room upstairs is so small ahaha. PLUSSS. The bedsheets had some lizard shits o gosh. (The bed's in a mess when we left the place aha and I had never slept on those beds at night cause they were so gross even thought the room was so cooling :/) I actually went to the chalet once but it was quite long ago? Plus I didn't stay there so I didn't realise the place sucks hahaha oh well. After putting down our garang garang, we slacked here and there, played card games and I tried to sleep while they watched their horror movie. Went for midnight bowling at around 12 and my bowling skills are still suckish :-( Didn't really have much activities on the 1st day so it was quite sian :/

Slept for only like 1 hour plus?? Woke up to mac breakfast :p And all of us washed up, getting ready to cycle yooo. That was my 3rd time cycling! At first, I couldn't cycle so I exchanged my bike with cheryl and luckily, I managed to cycle after a few tries! Phewww. If not I would have screamed and shouted or wtv because I couldn't cycle :-( Hehehe, so we cycled around PRP and went to the playground in btwn. Am so happy that I can cycle!!! Like all by myselfff. But still unstable ah, can't turn into narrow routes. But it's ok, I'll just have to cycle a few times more and I'll be fine! I hope xD Went back to the chalet afterwards and knocked out. Headed out for lunch and bought some bbq grocery! Played some rm mini games after we went back to the chalet! And guess what, the rain did not stop and we couldn't BBQ T-T We were so mega bored that we started taking pichaaas HAHAHA.

The pics aren't in any order anws so they might look a lil messy here heh. Goofed around, played with lynn's fisheye lens while waiting for the rain to stop! Until like 9+?? I think. The rain did stop. So we went out and started the fire to start BBQ. Then, it started to drizzle which turned into rain. Here's where umbrellas came in HAHAHA. We used umbrellas to shelter our fire from the rain.

And yea, we BBQ in the rain. It's kinda fun though hahahahaha. Then, the rain stopped again. After awhile, it rained again. THE SKY TOTALLY TROLLED US HOSHIT -_- Later on, some kind souls from other units at the chalet came to help us by lending us their bbq stuff so that we could bbq inside, under the shelter! And I became the 'charcoal woman' for that night HAHAHA. Glad that we managed to finish the BBQ food! (4 chicken wings left ah hahaha) Went to cheryl's house to bathe with lynn and dino after that. It was freezing cold I swear when we walked back to the chalet. T-T Fell asleep almost instantly when we got back there! Slept all the way till 920 this morning! DAMN SHIOKKK. Packed our stuff and left the chalet!

Now that I'm back home, using my laptop to blog about my first stayover at the chalet, I'm starting to miss those moments spent at the chalet with them :') Definitely had a lot a lot of fun despite that the place we stayed in sucks. It was my first time tonning as well! HAHAHA. OoooOoOOOoOO, the feels at night. I miss having stayover with them right now :-(

Getting tired alr, shall sleep now!! Going for an interview at Sushi Tei tomorrow with wy and chia as well! Heh, hope it goes well :D Goodnight!
