Girls' Night / Adventure Cove / Polys' Open House

As the title suggests, I'm gonna squeeze all these 3 events into one post!!! I'll try to make it short and sweet so bear with me ok! No worries, there'll be lots of photos to entertain yguys throughout this post HAHAHA.

Alright so on this Thursday night, we girls (cheryl, lynn, chia and liann) met up at dte's Subway to get our subway freshhh for dinner and headed to cheryl's house! It had been long since we spent time together alone - just we girls only - so I was really excited before this hehehe. Watched 'Bling Ring' and it unexpectedly turned out to be suckish lol. I initally thought it would be some sort of nice movie (almost rented it the other time) cos it involved stealing and stuff BUT no. It is indeed involved with thefts all these but they happen in a too illogical way... Just so nonsensical. Doesn't make sense. And it's kinda boring loool. I don't recommend this movie aha boohoo. After the movie ended, we just had some usual girls' talk xD It was so fun!!! Like at this moment, some of us were sharing our 'stories' HAHAHA and then at another moment, we were bursting out laughing LOL. Funny moments, good times. Afterwards, we began taking spamming photos hehehehe.

Idk but this could be our last girls' outing....? I hope not of course! :-( Hopefully, there'll be more of this in time to come!!! And the thought that all/some of us will be going to a separate JC / poly saddens me :-( I DON'T WANT TO LEAVE THEMMMMMM T-T Hais :-( Anyways, it was definitely a well-spent night with 'em! :-)

Went to Adventure Cove with the usuals yesterday!!! ^-^ It was also meant to be a bday celebration for both tjinyang (6th jan) and I (15th jan)! Sadly, liann couldn't join us due to her participation in TJC :((( So all of us met up at tamp mrt platform and lynn was the latest :@ HAHAHAHA kiddinggg :p Took mrt all the way to Outram Park and then switched line to go to Harbour Front! We then walked to our destination by foot with beautiful scenery beside us and many travellators wooo. (I like travellators fyi I also dk why hehehe)

Yayyyy, the fun begannn. :D

The first thing we did when we entered was ofc taking the mandatory shot hahahaha :p

Took some shots while waiting for the guys outside the toilet (they were freaking slow I swear) since we were already in the clothes which we wanted to go into the water in heh, smart us ;-)

When all of us were ready, we paid $20 (around $2.50 each, so expected of sentosa lol) for a big locker to put our belongings inside! And from there, we headed to the different stations! We went to the RipTide Rocket (if I rmb the name correctly) which is the most exciting and fun one hahaha. So we went up by the travellator then we just zoomed down and up which repeated for 3 times and my heart jumped out 3 times LOL. It's normal for the first time la since idk what to expect... HAHA, but it was sure thrilling! :D Then, we kept going to the 'Bluwater Bay' which is basically smth like WWW's tsunami, just that the waves at Adventure Cove are bigger (and crazier, 'killing' all of us at times HAHA). We went to other stations as well like Rainbow Reef where we got to go snorkeling in this big tank with salty water (yucks) and many fishes swimming in it :p It was definitely a great sight cos there were many pretty fishes like Dory (u know the one in Finding Nemo, yea that time of blue fish)!!! They are so beautiful. Their skin colour which is blue, sort of like reflects light??? in the saltwater and makes fish seem to be glowing in water *-* Oh and in the Adventure River (WWW has smth similar too), we got to swim pass this tank filled with many stingrays!!! Waaa hahahahaha, it's so fascinating seeing them so up close, esp. when they slide against the glass tank xD 

After 1 round of every station, we went to have some food cos we were starving like MAD. After that, we went back to some of the places again! What I enjoyed best about were the Riptide Rocket and Bluwater Ray, yea just 2 of 'em. All of us felt that WWW is a better choice than Adventure Cove - definitely b'cos its cheaper and also b'cos WWW has more fun stuff? Hahaha I'm not very sure cos it's been a long time since I had last visited WWW so I forgot. But anyways, it's the company that counts! :-) Had so so sooo much fun with 'em! :D

Went to check out the photos taken by photographers stationed at some part of the places inside and we decided to buy the soft copy (CD) for $40 which is $5 each for every of us. But guess what lol, there are problems with the CD - lynn couldn't open it at first and when she did, it was an empty one or smth. Waaa, all of us were pissed off man :/ Tjinyang contacted the person there this afternoon and they said they'll contact us within this 24 hours or smth. Hopefully, we can get our pictures back or else, they better pay us back or smth -_- 

Headed to Astons for dinner after that yayyyy. Spent less than $10 for this :

Black pepper chicken with Garden veggie and House salad as side dishes! Badluckmeandlynn who got the soft and soggy brocolli this time :-(  But still eatable la hahaha.

Thennnn, suddenly, Dino took out tjinyang's bday present which is a wallet, and gave him! And thennnn, dino didn't want to give me mine and insisted me to guess what my bday present is correctly before he agreed to give it to me, so mean cos idk what it is :/ (I actually guessed correct when he decided to pass me a white paper bag which contained my bday present after the girls told him to do so HAHAHA) AND WHEN I OPEN, YAYYYYY. 

THIS CAP!!!! I saw it previously in a shop before and I know it's expensive so thank yguys really really very much, I will take care and treasure it like my baobei :p HAHAHAHA. I was so happy man hoshit but b'cos I was so tired at that point of time as well, my joyful expressions revealed a bit slowly on my face ah hahahaha. YAY SO HAPPY O M G.

And today, I went to NP and TP's open houses! Initially, we met up at tamp mrt platform and everyone's late again and I was the earliest again and THIS SUCKS. :-( Took the mrt alllllll the way to Clementi (the guys got down at Dover cos they were going to SP's while Cheryl and I went to NP's) and then bused to NP! Almost got down at the wrong stop thanks to me hahahaha phew! When we alighted, cheryl saw her church friends and I, the awkward potato, just stood there like some awkward potato. When we headed to Munch to have our lunch, they followed us too omg so we decided to sit together with them hahaha. EVERYTHING'S SO AWKWARD. Bought Japanese food with cheryl (YAY) and sat down there. Luckily, they are kinda friendly hehe so I got warmed up a bit and started to talk to them since they engaged me into some of their convos as well! :-) Sometimes, they were really funny HAHA. We went to explore the Business (cheryl's interested in International Business) and Humans (I'm interested in Psychology) courses! Phooooo, psychology seems interesting!!! At their booth, they showed us different optical illusions pictures and explained to us why we have all those illusions, isn't it cool? :p Went to the Life Science course since there were dogs hehehe. Held a small rat in my hands too! So cute xD Had a free ice-cream (treat) from her churchmates heh and then we went to meet the guys on the mrt. Met up with ty and lynn afterwards and went to TP - they are damn hyper and crazy I will say hahahaha. Went to the courses we are interested in and left the place, heading to T1's Subway for dinner and then home.

Oops, took almost 2h to do this post... LOL. Short and sweet. I can never do this hahahaha, I'm so long-winded haiyooo, can't help it sorry guys :-( And oshit,I'm tired just now but am not now shit ballz. Need to adjust my body clock ah! Otherwise if I go JC, I'll dooooomed :'D Anyways, I had enjoyed myself these few days with my close friends! Now, I'm only left with one day to enjoy myself... Actually, not really. B'cos the nervousness and axiety are alr kicking in... No matter how many people tell me that I can get good grades, I still can't help but to feel afraid. Feel afraid of disappointing myself, disappointing my family... Expectations may lead to disappointments and I really hope this doesn't happen to me :-( Hope every one of us can get good results ah! Ti gong bo bi bo bi /prayyyyy/ Hais, gonna have bad sleep these 2 nights le siannnnnnn. T-T

Paris Baguette & Mini Shopping

Hi guys!! Went out with my mum today! :D so we visited this chinese medical centre first in the afternoon which is under some HDB block at tamp! I was sort of 'forced' to go there with her cos being the lazy me who dislike bitter stuff as well, I don't want to drink any chinese medicine... But since she had been insisting, I gave in /raised my white flag/ Afterwhich, I told my mum I wanted to try Paris Baguette and so we headed there!!! :p YAYYY FINALLY YO /dance in the air/

Ordered these : 

I forgot what those two thin long pastries are called heh. Chose these two b'cos of the berries - I love berries if u haven't know yet :p That longer and thicker pastry is called almond ... Smth! This almond pastry is really tasty like oh my goddd BUT it's damn fattening :/ (ok all pastries here are fattening like duhhh) The outside is crispy while inside is like very buttery. When you chew, you can literally feel the butter oozing out in your mouth... (Oh whatever zhiyu, just stop harping on that fat issue lol) Anws, it's definitely worth the fats cos it's really yummy! It's one of the must-buys there at the same time too I feel hehe.

Strawberry shortcake! HAHA yes I remembered its name cos it's easy to rmb ah xD It kinda tastes like just other strawberry shortcakes ah. Nth special but it's still tasty too! OH WELL. I think all pastries in Paris Baguette taste good la - there's a reason why there's always a long queue there ~ HAHA. Will wish to try other pastries there (in fact, ALL of 'em)  like the croissant which I have yet to try :-( it's okkk. Shall come back for more next time!!! Hehehehehe.

Then, satisfied&happygirl97 went to shop around a bit at T1! Errr, lowry's farm to be exact hahahaha. They have this mega sale I would say - some of the clothes cost around $20?? when they actually cost $70++ initially!! Whoa. So I walked around, look here and there. I think I stayed there for more than half an hour LOL. Eventually, I got myself these 2 pieces of clothing! (I'm not sure if they are bought for CNY or just... U know, casual wear HAHA) :

This black tee made of really comfy material! There's a zip at the back as well which I bought it for hahaha. And ofc because of the printed design at the front ah, so cool yet simple :D it costs around $24 anws!

Pastel purple shorts (can't really see the colour here) which costs $19.90! The usual price is much muchhh higher than that price so I think it's a good buy! I like the colour as well :p

Headed home after this 'mini shopping' hehe and then went for a which runnn. It had been raining the past 2 days and I didn't get to run! :-( glad that today it didn't rain hoho ^^ ohh and today's my Chinese/lunar bday! LOL.

Mum cooked this bowl of vermicelli with 2 eggs for me as breakfast this late morning which she does every year! (I woke up at like 1130 HAHA)

Astons

Sup! :-) 

Yea man, finally made my trip to astons today! Had been wanting to try their food probably cos it seemed like a lot of people around me have gone but not me :-(  

It was an impromptu trip there for me - I just suddenly received a call from my friends in the afternoon while I was watching my hk drama, asking if I wanted to join them for dinner @ Astons o.o Couldn't make up my mind yet at that time (u know how indecisive I am) cos my mum had already prepared the fish for dinner... (For those who know, yes, it's fish again :'D) Made up my mind to join them at around 6++?? HAHAHA. Cos I thought that I might not want to miss this chance of eating at astons! Heh. Since I reached there first (changi airport's branch), I went in to wait for them. Felt damn bad seeing people queuing up yet I'm like occupying a whole big table inside cos they took sometime to reach ^^' anyways, I was like literally staring at the menu hoping to gobble down all those food (pictures) which are displayed on it T-T

AT LAST, they reached :') After deciding on our orders, Dino went to submit 'em @ the counter! Ordered this Lemon & Lime chicken with House Salad and Corn on the Cob as side dishes! From the pic, they apparently gave me the wrong side dish - coleslaw instead of house salad - so they later gave me the house salad for free (hence the bowl of salad beside my plate) How nice of 'em :p oh and I like this dish! The lemon and lime sauce tastes really good, it goes with the chicken well! Yum yum. Chose this dish b'cos it seems to be the healthiest among the chicken dishes... Lemon ma HAHAHA. AND THE SALAD MHMMMM, DAEBAK xD

Later on after dinner, went to walk around thinking where we should go... Sat somewhere near the escalator like some homeless kids and then finally decided to head to Starbucks while Lynn left for home first! Slacked & chit-chatted at Starbucks - spazzed, laughed and grossed out?? at some kpop idols there. Bused home with Liann afterwards!

Even tho it's a short meet-up, I had fun with 'em!!! Totally better than nua-ing at home and watching my hk drama like some no life kid ah xD hehe ok, till then! :-)
